An infection of Zika, the most deadly form of the virus, is expected to be widespread in the United States during August and September.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the virus is expected in the majority of the United State by late August, but not all areas will see a spike.
If that happens, the CDC says people who live in areas with high transmission rates will need to avoid mosquito-borne illnesses, including Zika-related bloodstream infections and fever.
But if the virus does spike, that could put even more people at risk for the disease.
Here are five things to know ahead of the new flu season.
What you need now: The CDC has been predicting an outbreak of the flu for several weeks, with the latest update showing a spike in cases and a higher death toll.
But the new report does not have a specific date for when the pandemic could be fully unleashed.
Here’s what you need today:In addition to a surge in cases, the number of confirmed cases is going to climb.
The U.S. Centers for Diseases Control and Protection said Friday that the number has reached 3,908 cases and 9,542 deaths.
The total number of cases and deaths are expected to climb to 7,814, according to the CDC.
That means more than 7 million people could be infected by the time the pandemics peak.
The virus has also been linked to an uptick in hospitalizations.
According in the latest CDC update, the U.K. recorded 1,907 hospitalizations with fever in the week ending July 25, the highest rate for the week since records began in October, when the number was at a record high of 4,093.
That increase in hospitalization could result in more than 1 million more people getting the flu in the next few weeks.
The new virus is a coronavirus, meaning it has been linked in the past to severe illness, including death.
The CDC says that the virus causes mild symptoms and usually lasts about three days.
However, there is a chance that a person can develop the flu symptoms and become seriously ill after only a few days, even if they do not develop symptoms.
In some cases, a person who has the virus can die.
What people need to be aware of: In addition to the increased numbers of cases, some people who get the flu are experiencing more severe symptoms.
The flu is also associated with pneumonia and other respiratory problems.
People should avoid coughing and sneezing.
The government says that people with respiratory problems should take a cough suppressant, but the CDC is warning people not to take them off until they are sure they have fully recovered.
What to do if you do get the influenza: If you are experiencing any of the symptoms, you can rest easy and take care of yourself.
The US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services says that if you are feeling well and healthy, take your flu shot on a scheduled date, and be sure to follow all instructions and precautions.
In addition, your doctor may prescribe you a flu shot.
